To Whom It May Concern:
Like all responsible business owners, I am very interested in sustaining a healthy environment at my stores. This not only protects my customers, but it also protects my employees and helps mitigate lost time and productivity.
Several months ago, one of our customers recommended BioShield 75 to protect our surfaces from harboring Swine Flu germs. We are especially concerned about the health and welfare of our customers, many of whom live with disabilities.
I purchased a few bottles and requested that Kevin Pannebecker, the Midwest President of BioShield to conduct “before and after” tests at our St. Louis location. The results are impressive and indicate that the product provides substantial initial benefit which can be sustained by normal cleaning by our staff.

Just one initial application and normal cleaning has sustained these areas for more than 90 days. We use it in all of our stores, and we find it easy and convenient. We simply spray it on all our high touch surfaces, like door handles, light switches, vending machines, telephones, keyboards, TV remotes, and desk/counter tops. When dry, it provides a protective base that we refresh using our own cleaning routine.
I recommend this product. It is inexpensive insurance against the threat of germs in our stores, and it provides an effective means of protecting our customers and our employees.
Sincerely,

Richard W. May

What I don’t seem to understand is the spike in “germs” on the test results, and then the decline during the course of 45 days? Seems confusing, if its supposed to be so effective. Were the areas not being disinfected or cleaned properly?

Hey Julie,
You’re right on. The test picked up what is called “biofilm”, a layer of dirt, dust particles, flaked off skin cells and lots of other microscopic items that build up between cleanings. What is not mentioned and that I found to be very positive, is that a paper towel wetted only with water, wiped this film away and re-testing resulted in a number back under 100, showing the surface itself to be quite clean. It was also a good example of why normal cleaning in between applications is so important.
